The atmosphere of Feodosia is saturated with sea breeze and history
Tsars and empresses of different dynasties spared no expense to stay on the peninsula. This is still evidenced today by the numerous apartments of statesmen from the times of Russian autocracy.
This is but a tiny part of the entire thousand-year history of Crimea, but from this it becomes obvious that at all times Crimea became a 'homeland' for dozens, if not hundreds, of different peoples. Its unique geographical location, favorable climate and fertile lands forced people of different nationalities to shed blood for the right to live on the peninsula. And today, when the Crimean peninsula belongs to Ukraine, people of different nationalities and faiths continue to coexist on its territory. Among them are Ukrainians, Russians, Belarusians, Tatars, Romanians, Moldovans, Greeks, Jews and other ethnic groups.
Crimea continues to amaze with its most diverse historical monuments. In the city of Feodosia you can find both oriental mosques and Christian churches, and historical museums with finds of tools from primitive man and ancient Greek settlement of Feodosia to relics of Tsarist Russia. But to understand this extraordinary atmosphere of Feodosia, you need to feel it. Every person who is lucky enough to have a vacation in Feodosia will surely remember both the gentle roar of the Black Sea, and evening walks under the southern starry sky, and that resort romance, or maybe just a vacation with a loved one, which leaves unforgettable memories for a lifetime.
