"Euro renovation" is, first and foremost, quality
In the old Soviet times, almost all of us, ordinary citizens of the "great and mighty" country, had standard repairs in our standard apartments – the same radiators as tens of millions of urban dwellers, the same balconies and loggias, the same plaster or wallpaper. Back then, no one knew the word "euro renovation," and it didn't exist yet, it hadn't been invented. But in the nineties of the last century, this word came into our lives and, as it turned out, firmly and permanently took root. What, exactly, is euro renovation?
Almost two decades ago, in our country, euro renovation began to be called a quality renovation of apartments and offices, carried out according to European standards using modern materials and technologies. It was precisely during that period when the Iron Curtain fell, and foreign firms and companies arrived in the post-Soviet space, bringing with them new, unknown, or at least little-known products to former Soviet citizens. It was then that representatives of the middle class in our country began doing euro renovations – qualitatively new renovations using those European construction and finishing materials that were simply unavailable in Soviet times. Since then, euro renovation has firmly entered our lives, and this word is still in use. What is meant by the concept of "doing a euro renovation"?
First, we are talking about materials such as satengips and similar materials used to level and plaster walls and ceilings. Second, modern floors – laminate and similar coverings. Third, window frames and balconies – double-glazed windows, metal-plastic windows, or euro-windows – whatever they are called. But again, their appearance is associated with Europe, and they are inseparable from the concept of "euro renovation."
Speaking of euro renovation, one cannot fail to mention door and furniture fittings, plumbing, shower cabins, halogen lamps, and many other things inseparably linked with the concept of a good, modern renovation. And indeed, it is precisely a quality modern renovation that we all understand by the word "euro renovation."
Although, by the way, Europeans would not understand us! Because Western Europe is not at all familiar with this style of interior decoration! Especially when it comes to covering walls with drywall and polyurethane panels. It's just that a simple truth has firmly entered the consciousness of our compatriots: European means good!
