Who and when can study in Poland?
Secondary education. Let's start with the fact that every school student has the opportunity to go to Poland after the 9th grade. In this case, we can talk about studying at a technical school or lyceum. At a technical school, studies last 5 years, at a lyceum – 4 years. Then there is an opportunity to enter one of the prestigious Polish universities. The applicant himself will find it much easier to adapt because he has already studied for 4 or 5 years in Poland. There are other options.
Bachelor's degree. You can finish school in your own country and go to a higher education institution in Poland to study for a bachelor's degree. In humanities, students study for 3 years, and in technical fields – 3.5-4 years. Therefore, the duration of study will depend on the chosen specialty. After completing a bachelor's degree, most people go on to a master's degree to get a full higher education and then look for a good job.
Master's degree. Is it possible to apply for a master's degree without completing a bachelor's degree in Poland? Yes. You can study for a bachelor's degree in your own country and then submit documents to Poland to study for a master's degree. This option is often practiced. Of course, it is better to study all 5 years at one university, then the student will receive high-quality comprehensive knowledge. By the way, the duration of study for a master's degree itself is 2 years in humanities and 1.5 years in engineering. You can study for a master's degree in Poland for free, but only in some cases. One of them is the Pole's Card, another is winning a scholarship program or a grant to study in this country.
Stages of admission
The first stage is choosing a specialty and university. In our country, there are a number of projects that help with admission, choosing a university and specialty. We have already mentioned one such project above. You must pay attention to the university ranking. It will allow you to choose the best specialized university.
The second stage is collecting all necessary documents. Among them is a certificate of knowledge of the language in which you will study. Do not forget: you can get an education in Poland in English! As a result, you will have the opportunity to get a good job in any European country. But to submit documents to the university, you will need to confirm your knowledge of the language in which you will study. It is confirmed by a certificate of level B1 or B2, depending on the requirements of the Polish university you are applying to.
The third stage is submitting documents and enrolling in the chosen university. After that, you need to immediately look for housing in Poland. Many universities offer accommodation in dormitories. It is better to find out this nuance in advance.
