Good Egyptian restaurants are for real gourmets
Hurghada is also a destination for gourmet tours. And to make your impression of the country more complete, you should definitely visit the restaurant "Felfela", located on the seashore. Here you can not only enjoy authentic Egyptian cuisine and seafood, but also admire the wonderful sea view, hookah and relaxing atmosphere.
If you think it is impossible to find international cuisine in Egypt, you are greatly mistaken. For example, at the hotel "La Perla" there is an Italian restaurant "Da Nanni", which is extremely popular both among travelers and locals. The owners of the restaurant are Italians, so excellent pizza, pasta, salads are at your service. There is also a corner of Japanese cuisine where you can try excellent sushi.
But at the European cuisine restaurant "Bulls", you can eat for the entire trip to Egypt and not get tired of it. It offers Italian, European, Japanese, and Chinese cuisines. This is a rather expensive restaurant in Hurghada, but it is worth it. At "Bulls", there is a large selection of meat and salads. Particularly worth trying is the signature steak with three types of sauce: garlic, pepper, and mushroom.
If you are not from China but have always dreamed of visiting a Chinese restaurant, it is best to go to the restaurant of the hotel "Le Pasha". Here you can note the decent quality of dishes and pleasant interior. Or, maybe you simply crave Russian pelmeni? Next to the hotel "Sea Gull" there is a restaurant "Yolki-Palki", where pork dishes, Russian beer and vodka are served – a real exotic for Egypt.
With such an abundance of all kinds of restaurants, do not even dream that your vacation will allow you to lose even a couple of kilograms. But if you care about healthy eating, then you will probably find the fish restaurants of Hurghada most suitable. One of these specialized and at the same time oldest establishments is "El Joker", whose menu consists of traditional Egyptian salads, seafood soups, various types of fish, lobsters, shrimp.
Another fish restaurant called "El Mina" is, one might say, more adapted for the traveler. There are areas for smokers and non-smokers, an internet cafe, and on the third floor – a hookah lounge. One of the delicious and hearty signature dishes is called "El Mina" soup made of shrimp, mussels, crabs, and several types of fish. If you decide to have lunch at this restaurant, be sure to ask to translate the bill from Arabic at least into English. Otherwise, you will simply be cheated.
