View of New York
The city includes five boroughs, the most famous of which is Manhattan. It is here that a huge number of historical monuments and cultural attractions are located.
What should you visit in New York first?
Of course, the Statue of Liberty. This is a world-famous symbol of the USA, maintaining its status for a century and a half. The huge sculpture depicts the Goddess of Liberty, holding a sacred tablet and a flaming torch. At the statue's feet lie broken chains – a sign of the independence gained by the American people. The height of the statue with the pedestal is 93 meters. Original observation decks are made inside the pedestal and crown. The great popularity of the Statue of Liberty means that a visit must be planned in advance to fully enjoy the beautiful view.
An excellent view of lower Manhattan and its skyscrapers opens from the famous Empire State Building. Both the daytime view of the city and the nighttime sight of New York are awe-inspiring. Be sure to stop by here at sunset! This is a wonderful opportunity to admire the city panorama in the evening light, the light of the setting sun, and the night illumination.
The heart of New York is Times Square, where the editorial office of The New York Times was located at the beginning of the 20th century. Here are giant skyscrapers, colorful neon advertising signs, world-famous Broadway musicals, and the Madame Tussauds wax museum. Do not forget about the huge shopping centers and numerous souvenirs!
And a few more interesting places for walks...
We recommend seeing the famous Brooklyn Bridge, business Wall Street, and numerous Catholic churches. If you have time, be sure to visit Brighton Beach, where many former residents of Russia live. The beautiful promenade and cozy beach will not leave you indifferent!
And of course, we must not forget about Central Park. A green and amazingly beautiful space that adds a special touch to the image of a giant metropolis. It is sincerely loved by both guests of New York and its residents. Many American films use its image in their plots, adding the park to scripts.
