Kazan Kremlin – the main landmark of the city
Kazan is a huge city with a population of over one million, developed tourist infrastructure, a rich economy, and a large number of services, from car rentals to such services as website creation. In 2005, when the 1000th anniversary of the city was celebrated, many entertainment venues were opened and a huge number of cultural and historical monuments and centers were restored, including the university campus, a number of central streets, the Kazan Kremlin, theaters, temples, parks, etc.
Kazan Kremlin
The main landmark of the city is the famous Kazan Kremlin – the heart of the city. It is from here that Kazan, as we see it today, began its development. On the territory of the Kremlin are the Kul Sharif Mosque, the Presidential Palace, the Annunciation Cathedral, the Söyembikä Tower, and two observation decks. By the way, photos and more detailed information about these places can be obtained on the regional portals of the city, which, thanks to the skillfully performed service of website promotion, occupy leading positions.
Even a simple walk through the Kremlin territory leaves an indelible impression, and if you climb to the observation deck located on the Preobrazhenskaya Tower, you will be rewarded with a stunning view of the entire city.
Church-Monument of the Image of the Savior Not Made by Hands
The church was built in connection with the events of 1552, when Kazan was conquered by the troops of Ivan the Terrible. In those distant times, many warriors died in battle, and the tsar ordered them to be buried with honors, and a monastery was built on the burial site.
Museum-Memorial Complex
The historical center of Kazan, the monuments of the Khan's Mosque, the vast territory of the Khan's court with a necropolis where the Kazan khans were buried in ancient times, the Söyembikä Tower with its secrets and mysterious legends determined the choice of location for the museum complex. The museum complex unites various architectural landmarks of the Kazan Kremlin, such as the Palace Church and the Presidential Palace. In the museum's exposition, you can see decrees of all the rulers of Kazan, the divan-khane of the Kazan khans, as well as various state regalia: tamgas, flags, and coats of arms.
A special word should be said about the city's most beautiful fountains. Special attention is deserved by the cascades of fountains located on Lake Kaban and the fountain on the square in front of the Galiaskar Kamal Theater, which was installed in 2007. The center of the composition is an impressive 50-meter column of water that rises directly from the lake. On the square itself, there are also fountains, a group of which forms interesting arches and water spheres. Not far from the square, in the Millennium Park, there is another large-scale fountain, made in the form of a cauldron with engraved dragon heads from which jets of water erupt.
Kazan is a modern city, about which you can learn from various Internet sources, so website creation and promotion are performed at a high level here.
