Economist experts analyzed the database of vacancies and resumes published on the international recruitment portal in 2012. Although the overall dynamic process was negative, compared to the previous year, the decrease in the number of published vacancies was insignificant (5%). And in terms of the number of monthly offered vacancies, the banking sector is among the top five leading sectors.
In 2012, 5,907 vacancies for bank employees were posted on the job search portal, accounting for 6% of all published vacancies. On average, about 500 new job offers for banking specialists were published per month that year. By the response parameter, this professional area ranked 8th – 16 applicants per vacancy. In terms of the number of offered jobs, the leaders are: 'PrivatBank' (66), 'Ukrsibbank' (58), 'Finance and Credit' (48), 'Alfa-Bank' (41), 'Piraeus Bank' (29).

In 2012, by the number of published resumes (12,076), the banking sector ranked only 9th, indicating the passivity of job seekers. At the same time, this year the growth in the labor market in the banking sector was 17% compared to 2011. On average over the year, there were 3 applicants for 2 jobs.
In their resumes, applicants present themselves as employees of commercial banks, credit specialists, economists, analysts, retail business specialists. In the labor market of the banking sector, there is a demand for cashiers, customer service specialists, credit analysts, directors and employees of regional representative offices, specialists involved in the development, sale, and support of banking services. Line managers are most in demand.
At the same time, applicants who write in the search engine: «looking for work in Kyiv in the banking sector», will be offered a large number of vacancies, since the capital market is traditionally a leader in offering jobs to banking employees in all areas of banking.
