Dacha – a source of additional income or a place for relaxation

Even today, the average Russian's possession of a car ordered from Europe and a dacha indicates a stable financial situation. However, it should be noted that there is another, so to speak, flip side of the coin.

What to do if a person cannot afford to maintain a dacha, or is very busy and can only afford to escape the concrete jungle a couple of times a year? In this case, the solution to the problem is not to purchase a dacha plot, but to rent one. This is the optimal way to organize your own leisure time in nature. A person simply gets into his car, takes his family or friends, and drives to a pre-rented country house. For those few days, he is its owner.

It must be said that the modern real estate market is very well developed in this regard. The tenant is usually offered a choice of several rate models:

• daily payment;
• seasonal rental;
• rental for an agreed period.

Naturally, each type of transaction has its own price appeal. Of course, everything depends on the location of the rental property and the region of the tenant's residence. But in most cases, currently, the rental of country houses and dachas is handled by real estate professionals – professional realtors. However, in this case, we are talking about large cities, while in smaller towns, finding and renting a dacha can be done independently. In this case, rental costs will be minimal, since the deal will be concluded directly between the dacha owner and the tenant.

The phrase 'dacha rental' will imply even greater benefit for you if you are the happy owner of a country house. After all, if you do not live there permanently and visit very rarely due to busyness or strained life circumstances, then the dacha cottage can become an additional source of income for you.

However, in order to rent out a dacha legally and lawfully, it is necessary to register as a private entrepreneur. This must be done to protect yourself from so-called 'black realtors', or simply put, real estate fraudsters.

Moreover, if you are considering this type of income, you must first study the basic principles and intricacies of renting out property. At the very least, you should know what a lease agreement looks like, how it is signed, and what rights and obligations it imposes on both parties.
