Zurich named best city in the world

Zurich, with 106.5 points, ranks first among the world's cities for the second consecutive year. Geneva, Vienna and Vancouver each scored 106 points. They are followed by Auckland in New Zealand, Copenhagen, Frankfurt and Bern, each with 105.5 points. New York was rated at 100 points. Tokyo came in 26th, London 39th, New York 44th. African cities took 17 of the 20 last places on the list. Brazzaville, the capital of Congo, scored 28.5 points, and Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic, 30.5.

In addition, Luxembourg was recognized as the safest city to live in, while Bangui ranked last in the world also in terms of safety of life. Among Western European cities, the most dangerous to live in are Milan, Athens and Rome, and among US cities, Washington, reports Rosbalt.
