What to Pack in a Suitcase When Planning a Trip Abroad

You should review the wardrobe packed in your suitcase. If you are going to warm countries, it is better to take clothes made from natural fabrics, which are less muggy because they breathe better and heat up less in the sun. If you plan to visit temples, do not forget to take a long skirt and a scarf that covers your shoulders and head. If your itinerary includes a jungle excursion, it is better to put a repellent for aggressive animals in your suitcase. After all, in some countries there is an unwritten rule that everyone is responsible for their own life and health, while in the tropical forests (and even cultural parks) of these countries, animals live in natural conditions and are not controlled.

Next, you need to take care of footwear. If you do not want to spend the entire trip lying on the beach, you should definitely take comfortable shoes. You can also bring a camera. Note that some countries do not allow you to bring more than one camera or video camera. In addition, some countries have taboos on photographing certain things. Check this with your tour operator.

Also make sure that your wardrobe matches the cultural and religious traditions of the country you are going to. Do not take overly provocative items, be restrained.

Find out in advance from the travel company what items you cannot take with you, so that you do not have to leave them (at best) or be held responsible for attempting to transport them before the law.

In a number of Muslim countries, the consumption of alcoholic beverages is frowned upon. And although the transport of alcohol is allowed (1 liter per person), you should not abuse this. It is better to bring a breathalyzer with you so as not to spoil your days in a foreign country if, for example, you plan to rent a car but know that you will have to drink a little.

When packing your suitcase, you should leave room for souvenirs purchased during the trip, if you do not want to pay extra for their transport.

Take only the essentials. If you are unsure whether you need an item for the trip, it is better to leave it. And remember: only careful preparation can ensure a good vacation.
