Even a holiday in such a paradise as the Maldives requires following certain rules<\/em><\/p>
But before buying tours to the Maldives, you need to know some peculiarities of visiting this country.<\/p>
First, you do not need to obtain a visa in advance to visit this country. It will be issued to you for 30 days immediately upon arrival at the airport, and absolutely free of charge. But there is one 'but': citizens of Israel are not allowed into the country at all.<\/p>
Also remember that the import of the following is prohibited when entering the country:<\/p>
absolutely any narcotic substances, including psychotropic ones; anti-Islamic literature; any military paraphernalia; any pork products; alcoholic beverages; pornographic materials; animals; any weapons, explosives, gunpowder. In addition to all these prohibitions, there are also certain rules of conduct in the Maldives. Fishing near the islands and spearfishing are strictly prohibited. Also, do not litter – leave or throw empty cans and bottles on the beach or in any public place. When diving or ordinary snorkeling, you must not break or tear living or dead corals in the ocean near the shores. Damaging or raising shells from the bottom to the surface is also strictly prohibited.<\/p>
Under no circumstances should you visit the capital Malé or other islands inhabited by the local population in beachwear. If you plan to visit one of these islands, your clothing must cover your body from shoulders to knees. And another warning: for those who like to sunbathe topless or without any clothes at all, these islands are not suitable. They have a strict taboo on this – you understand, Islam. Well, and for those who want to raise their alcohol level, this can only be done in bars on the hotel premises. The country has a dry law.<\/p>
But, despite all these prohibitions, as soon as you get to this paradise, all the bad is left behind. And there is absolutely no desire to break the prohibitions and taboos that exist in the Maldives. Because such a fabulous vacation does not need any doping. You can relax without alcohol, and to get adrenaline pumping through your veins, you can just go surfing or diving. In short, if paradise exists, it is definitely in the Maldives and you simply must visit it.<\/p>
