Being ill abroad will be easier

The new card, no bigger than a standard bank card in format, will replace the current variety of medical insurance policies for those travelling abroad. As a European Commission representative explained, the standardisation of medical insurance services for tourists is expected to speed up the return of money to patients from their social insurance funds at home, reports EuroNews.
