The International Tourist Salon "Ukraine", held annually in autumn, traditionally sums up the work of tour operators in the summer season, demonstrates the full range of travel offers for winter holidays and lays the foundation for work in the next "hot" summer season.
This year the tourist salon "Ukraine" will gather about 700 organizations and companies from more than 30 countries. The exhibition will feature tourism enterprises from Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Hungary, Vietnam, Germany, Greece, Egypt, Israel, Indonesia, Spain, Italy, Jordan, Canada, China, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, Russia, Slovakia, Thailand, Tunisia, Turkey, Finland, France, the Czech Republic, and Switzerland. For the first time, companies from Romania and the Dominican Republic will take part in the exhibition. Tour operators from India and South Africa will be distinguished by unprecedented activity.
The exposition of the tourist salon will be located in six pavilions of the National Complex "Expocenter of Ukraine" and will include both stands of leading tour operators working on the foreign and domestic markets, and stands of national tourist offices engaged in popularizing tourism in their country or its individual region. This year, for the first time, national stands of the Dominican Republic, Indonesia, and also Slovakia will be presented, whose exposition will be one of the largest in terms of exhibition area. The tourist representation of Dubai will also significantly expand the boundaries of its participation in "Ukraine'2005". But, as before, the collective stand of Poland remains the most extensive. Interesting national expositions are expected from Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Hungary, Egypt, Spain, Catalonia, Cyprus, Thailand, Finland, the Czech Republic and, of course, Ukraine. A special exposition "Відпочивайте в Україні" will be dedicated to the tourist opportunities of our country, where visitors will be offered to choose family holidays in Crimea, the Carpathians and other parts of the country..
In addition to tour operators themselves, hotels, tourist complexes and bases, sanatoriums, boarding houses and other enterprises of the tourism industry will present their stands at the exhibition "Ukraine'2005".
By tradition, the organizers will devote a lot of "exhibition" time to holding seminars and conferences for industry specialists.
The rapid development of the tourism market also affects the content of the tourist salon "Ukraine". The domestic tourist, gaining experience in the art of relaxation every year, places ever higher demands on the tourism product. The increased demand for unknown travel routes forces tour companies to compete in organizing new interesting destinations and tours. All the latest ideas and developments will be displayed in the exhibition exposition.
The International Tourist Salon "Ukraine" has been a member of the International Association of Tourist Exhibitions and Fairs (ITTFA) for two years now, which "introduced" it into the top twenty tourist exhibitions in Europe.
