What is the cost of accommodation in Berdyansk?
Despite the abundance of recreation centers and other accommodation options, each has unique features. This diversity makes it possible to relax in Berdyansk and have an unforgettable vacation on the seacoast on various budgets.
Theoretically, all available daily rental offers can be divided into three groups (the indicated prices characterize the cost of vacation from June 25 to August 25 per person per day):
1. Economy accommodation (50-70 UAH). If renting in the private sector, you can get rooms without frills, and sometimes just a "floor – ceiling – 4 walls" and a sagging mesh bed. Toilet in the yard and most likely of the old village type, i.e., a wooden hut with a hole. Shower also in the yard, unheated and with sea water, although options with a more improved appearance are possible, but for an additional fee. With such accommodation, many things will be subject to extra charges.
2. Mid-range prices (80-150 UAH). These are well-kept rooms with partial furnishings and a toilet either individually in the room, or on the floor or in the building. Very often such rooms are equipped with a TV and air conditioning. Aesthetic appearance and functionality are at a decent level, although there are exceptions with prices clearly inflated compared to the service.
3. Superior comfort rooms (from 300 UAH). These are clean and spacious rooms with individual design, furnished with necessary furniture and appliances for a cozy stay. Toilet and shower with fresh water are located directly in the room. The range of additional services covers all possible human needs. Service at a good level, but there are not many such rooms on the entire Azov coast, and some resort areas do not have this segment of quality accommodation at all.
Most hotels and recreation centers on the seacoast have their own dining facilities, which provides additional comfort during the stay. At the same time, meals are not included in the accommodation cost at all or only in the form of breakfast. But this is not so bad, because it gives the opportunity to visit several cafes and choose the most suitable menu and interior for dining.
Speaking of the cost of meals, for one person of average build and appetite, you should expect 100-150 UAH per day. It doesn't matter much whether you eat in cafes or fend for yourself by buying food at markets or in stores (you can save about 20-30 UAH). But still, it is worth trying local fruits and vegetables, fresh sea fish, and homemade dairy products.
