Belokurikha – Siberian Switzerland

Belokurikha – Siberian Switzerland

Of all the health resorts in Altai, the resort in the foothills of the Chigirinsky Ridge is the most popular

Of all the health resorts in Altai Krai, one of the most famous is the balneological Belokurikha resort. It is Belokurikha, a cozy town at the foot of Mount Tserkovka, that is called the "Siberian Switzerland" - for its mountain air, unusually mild climate for Siberia, magnificent views, European-style well-groomed grounds, developed infrastructure, and unique therapeutic treatments. It is believed that there are even more healthful air ions in the air of Belokurikha than at Swiss resorts!

A federal-level resort, Belokurikha offers recreation for every taste. In summer, spring and autumn – therapeutic walks (terrenkurs), the beauty and aromas of blooming mountain slopes, swimming in the Belokurikha River. In winter – skiing, snowboarding. And year-round – hydrotherapy with unique thermal nitrogen-siliceous radon-containing water, mud therapy, biomesopuncture (a modern method of introducing microdoses of medications into acupuncture points) and many other therapeutic and cosmetic procedures.

Winter holidays are especially attractive in Belokurikha. The ski season usually starts in December and lasts until March. Visitors have access to four high-quality, interesting slopes that are consistently maintained in good condition. If the winter is snowless, one of the slopes is covered with artificial snow. For the convenience of skiers, two lifts operate (a T-bar and a chairlift).

Belokurikha is a wonderful opportunity to relax with health benefits, combining skiing with therapeutic treatments in one of the sanatoriums and treatment centers. For example, the Rodnik Altai sanatorium offers comfortable rooms, a convenient location, and a rich selection of therapeutic and preventive options.

At the resort, Belokurikha prices are for every budget: from 650 to 24,500 rubles per day for accommodation (depending on the location of the sanatorium or hotel and the room category). A course of therapeutic treatments (if not included in the tour price) can be paid separately – according to the doctor's prescription. But the most important asset of Belokurikha – the unique healing air, saturated with air ions – is given to all tourists completely free of charge!
