Bali will not leave nightlife lovers disappointed
Bali – vacation in this country is often associated with the beach, hot sun, and excursions to numerous temples and ancient architectural monuments. During the day, Bali offers many entertainments closely related to the local lifestyle. These can include visits to national parks and reserves, elephant safaris, participation in religious festivals, which are quite numerous. Nightlife seems something mundane, having nothing in common with Balinese culture.
In addition to numerous dance floors, discos, bars and restaurants, everyone who comes to Bali should get acquainted with two traditional types of night pastimes.
Tourists are attracted by the dance "Kecak" or "Monkey Dance". The "Monkey Dance" reflects the achievements and traditions of the folk choreography of the inhabitants of Indonesia. This dance looks like this. About a hundred men with bare torsos sit around a fire, people dance in the center of the circle. The dance is controlled either by a priest or a dancer. Music is replaced by rhythmic shouts and finger strikes on the chest or hips of those sitting. The dance is accompanied by recitative. Gradually the tempo of the dance increases. From the outside it looks very beautiful. The dancers enter a kind of trance, so they are able to perform movements at a crazy pace without getting lost or making mistakes.
If you like night vacation, Bali also offers a visit to "Wayang Kulit". The performance starts far after midnight and can last until morning. Unlike the daytime ceremony, which is a religious rite, night dances are perceived as entertainment. "Wayang Kulit" can be seen by visiting religious festivals and ceremonies held in temples.
In Bali, youth recreation is well developed in the resort of Kuta. There are many bars, pubs and discos that stay open until morning. The variety of drinks offered, local cuisine delicacies and design features give each bar individuality, and you can spend more than one night just exploring them.
Nightlife in Bali would be incomplete without swimming in the ocean waters under the moon. The sensations of night swimming cannot be compared to anything, and cannot be described in words.
