According to airline representatives, the exact changes will be known in August when the company publishes its quarterly financial report. British Airways CEO William Walsh has already promised that no more than two of the 154 routes will be removed from the schedule.
In turn, Ryanair announced that it will cancel about 150 flights per week from Dublin airport. As Lenta.ru notes, as a result of this measure, passenger traffic through the Irish capital will decrease by half a million people.
It is curious that high oil prices have affected very different airlines: for example, while Ryanair is considered the largest low-cost carrier in Europe, British Airways sells more expensive tickets.

Other carriers were forced to introduce additional fuel surcharges and reduce the number of free services.
