A rented car is the freedom of your trip
To begin with, it is worth noting that renting a car for one person is not very profitable. More precisely, it is not profitable at all – traveling by public transport will be much cheaper. But if you are not alone, the benefit of renting a car becomes obvious. Imagine how much a family or a group of 3-4 people can spend on regular trips by public transport – and everything becomes clear.
Another undoubted advantage of renting a car is gaining mobility. Imagine that you go with your family to a foreign resort for a few days. Naturally, you want to see as much as possible during these days, to visit as many interesting places as possible. Of course, you can use the services of tour agencies, but on such tours you are completely dependent on the group and must adhere to a certain route and rules. If you have a car, you are free to choose the route and time of the trip, which, you will agree, is very convenient.
Many undemanding travelers, while traveling around the country, use a rented car as a place to sleep. By the way, a rather good way to save money given not low prices for accommodation abroad.
Do not forget that when renting a car, you are completely spared from the problems of registering the car, obtaining insurance, technical inspection and other related issues. And this significantly saves your precious time.
All this is good, of course, but you need to know certain rules of car rental, which, as a rule, are similar in most countries.
- Renting a car is allowed for persons who have reached the age of 23 (in some countries – 21 years);
- You must have at least 1 year of driving experience;
- You must have a passport with a visa and an international driving permit;
- It is advisable to have a credit card, or you will be asked to pay a cash deposit.
