The Arabat Spit offers excellent conditions for summer vacations

The Arabat Spit is a unique sandy spit with beaches stretching for many kilometers, welcoming about half a million tourists annually. On one side, the Arabat Spit is washed by the warm and gentle waters of the Sea of Azov, which is rarely stormy and warms up well by the sun as early as May, making this resort ideal for children's holidays. There are many children's camps and health complexes here that receive children from all over Ukraine and neighboring countries.

A vacation on the Arabat Spit will be beneficial and pleasant for both adults and children. The Sea of Azov warms up quickly, so sea bathing can be quite long without worrying about the child's health. At the height of the summer season, the water temperature in the sea can reach +28 to +30 degrees. In addition, the Arabat Spit has several hot springs – unusual geysers with thermal waters.

The other side of the Arabat Spit is washed by the shallow sea bay Sivash, also called the Rotten Sea. Sivash has many bays and lakes with salty and bitter-salty water, near which water and mud therapy centers have been built to treat various diseases related to breathing, digestion, overcoming musculoskeletal problems, etc.

Administratively, the Arabat Spit is divided between the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the Kherson region. Car rally enthusiasts can easily cross the Arabat Spit from north to south; the distance from Henichesk to the village of Kamenskoe in Crimea is about 100 kilometers. 12 kilometers from Henichesk runs the Moscow-Simferopol highway, and nearby is the Novolekseevka junction station. The resort area starts from Henichesk and stretches almost uninterrupted for 40 kilometers south.

Local villages have long turned into full-fledged resort towns with developed infrastructure – a seaside vacation for the most discerning tourists. At tourists' service: shops and markets, telephone coverage and internet, bank branches and car repair services.
