The consequences of the American mortgage crisis have had a beneficial effect on the industry producing so-called "mobile" homes. As reported by Lenta.ru, sales of such housing increased by 19% last year.
Sales manager of "mobile" real estate at Holiday Mobile Estates, Bill Welch, says that all 406 houses at their disposal are occupied, and there is even a waiting list. And quite prosperous citizens live in them – doctors, lawyers, retirees.
Mobile homes have everything necessary. The area of the structure can reach two thousand square feet (about 185 square meters). The houses can have up to five bedrooms, fireplaces, jacuzzis, and other amenities. Such houses cost from $50,000 to $90,000 depending on the area.
