Air France and KLM increase fuel surcharge

Additionally, reports Travel.ru, Air Fкance increased the surcharge by €2 on domestic French routes. As a result, Air France's fuel surcharge, added to the base fare and other fees, has reached €21 one-way on domestic flights, €35 on European flights, €121 on long-haul flights up to 9 hours, and €135 on long-haul flights over 9 hours. KLM's surcharge now stands at €41 on European routes and from €133 to €147 on long-haul flights.

For Air France, this is the fifth increase in the surcharge this year, for KLM - the fourth. The airlines promise to cancel this increase if the price per barrel of oil stabilizes below $125. If the oil price only falls below $130, the companies will reduce this increase by half.
