The passenger seat occupancy rate on the first flight was 53%. As the airline forecasts, by the end of the first month of flights on this route, the load factor will reach 65-70%.
In the future, it is planned to organize delivery of passengers from St. Petersburg through Kiev's Boryspil airport to many final destinations of the Ukrainian airline's route network, in particular to New York (USA), Toronto (Canada), Bangkok (Thailand), Ashgabat (Turkmenistan), Delhi (India), and airports of the Eastern Mediterranean countries. Convenient connections of the flight with Aerosvit's and its partners' flights will also be established in the ten largest regional centers of Ukraine - in Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Ivano-Frankovsk, Lugansk, Lvov, Odessa, Simferopol, Uzhgorod, and Kharkov.
It is expected that the Kiev - St. Petersburg air route will be jointly operated by Aerosvit and the Russian airline Pulkovo. A code-sharing agreement between the carriers is being prepared for signing. The document will allow the airlines to organize joint delivery of passengers between Kiev and St. Petersburg with five flights a week. It is planned that in a year flights between the cities will become daily.
Currently, Aerosvit - Ukrainian Airlines operates 49 air routes - 39 international and 10 domestic. Aerosvit's route network connects Ukraine with capitals, business centers, and world-famous resorts of 22 countries.
